BPI.RECYCLED PRODUCTS REVEALS PLANS FOR RWM

With this year’s RWM exhibition rapidly approaching, bpi.recycled products has revealed its plans for the annual recycling and waste management event. The business will use the exhibition, which takes place from 13-15th September at the NEC, to showcase the two different and equally beneficial sides to its operation.

In particular, visitors to bpi.recycled products’ stand (Stand 2034, Hall 19) will be able to learn more about its extensive recycling capabilities. As Europe’s largest recycler of waste polythene, the business currently recycles up to 68,000 tonnes of material every year from a nationwide network of environment agency approved sites. This UK waste is then recycled at UK facilities to produce products with an ultra-low carbon footprint, including bpi.recycled products’ popular Green Sack® range of 100% recycled refuse sacks.

As a further benefit, the business, which accepts scrap from a wide variety of sources ranging from horticultural and agricultural to industrial and commercial, even offers a hassle free waste collection service to help simplify the disposal demands faced by its customers.

In addition, staff from bpi.recycled products will be promoting its ability to meet visitor’s waste management needs. The leading manufacturer of refuse and recycling sacks will be showcasing its broad product portfolio which not only includes the Green Sack® range but domestic waste sacks, degradable sacks, rip-tip garden and recycling sacks, kerbside collection sacks and cost effective pillow sacks which provide greater capacity using less polythene.

bpi.recycled products will also be joined on its stand by its sister business from within the wider British Polythene Industries (BPI) plc group, bpi.stretchfilms. The manufacturer of polythene films will be promoting Securap, a 100% recyclable film designed to provide a greener, more efficient alternative to those organisations involved in baling fragmented or loose waste, from shredded paper and woodchip to used plastic and cardboard. Securap’s exceptional stretch helps to compress some materials down to a third of their original volume allowing users to maximise storage space and to better utilise space on transport vehicles.

Speaking of the manufacturer’s plans for the event, Rachael Barton, Marketing Manager at bpi.recycled products, added: “As one of Europe’s most experienced recyclers of waste polythene, we’re keen to use RWM 2011 to demonstrate the full extent of our recycling capabilities. We’ll also be focusing on showcasing our comprehensive range of waste management solutions.”
