Jewson to stock Zedex DPC range
Zedex Housing Grade DPC, a market leading high performance damp proofing course from building film manufacturer Visqueen Building Products, has gained favour with another major builders’ merchant. The Zedex range will now be stocked by Jewson, the UK’s leading supplier of sustainable timber and building materials.
As part of the new agreement, Jewson has named Visqueen Building Products as a preferred supplier of high performance damp proof courses. The decision by the builders’ merchant to stock Zedex Housing Grade DPC stems from its impressive performance, compatibility with other Visqueen products already stocked by Jewson and the quality of the technical support offered by the manufacturer.
BBA approved and suitable for housing constructions up to three stories, Zedex Housing Grade DPC is designed to provide housebuilders with a robust, cost effective and high quality waterproofing solution. In particular, it benefits from impressive strength, puncture resistance and flexibility while retaining excellent workability even in winter conditions.
Further evidence of the product’s success can be found in its past credentials. The high performance DPC has been used on a number of prestigious projects ranging from the construction of the Olympic Stadium in Stratford or St Mary’s Football Stadium in Southampton to the Maidstone Town Centre Shopping Mall or Woolwich Prison.
In addition, Zedex Housing Grade DPC is part of a complete system of structural waterproofing and gas protection solutions offered by Visqueen Building Products that also includes accessories such as cavity trays, pre-formed units and jointing tapes. Used together, the range allows users to meet a wide variety of different construction and application challenges.
