NEW REFUSE SACK OFFERS CLEAR ADVANTAGES
Leading manufacturer of refuse and recycling sacks, bpi.recycled products has added another innovative product to its range. The business has recently launched the new Green Sack Clear – a 100% recycled refuse sack that offers all the benefits of bpi.recycled products’ flagship Green Sack® range but with the added advantage of a transparent construction.
“The Green Sack Clear allows organisations to enjoy the combined benefits of reduced environmental impact, improved product performance and easier content identification,” explains Rachael Barton, Marketing Manager at bpi.recycled products. “In particular, its transparent nature makes it ideal for recycling schemes, where waste requires segregating or applications where security is an issue.”
As well as superior visability, the Green Sack Clear is able to deliver impressive environmental advantages. Made from 100% recycled polythene, it not only helps to conserve resources and divert waste from landfill but also benefits from being produced from UK waste at UK facilities.
The result is a refuse sack with a carbon footprint of up to a third lower than refuse sacks made from virgin materials and significantly lower than most other 100% recycled refuse sacks, which are typically manufactured in the Far East and, as such, have massive product miles.
In addition, the Green Sack Clear is produced using a large percentage of horticultural polythene waste such as used polytunnels, crop covers and strawberry film. Employing advanced technology, bpi.recycled products is then able to remanufacture this material in a way that retains its original strength and durability.
Commenting on the launch of the Green Sack Clear, Rachael Barton added: “As a European leader in the manufacture of refuse and recycling sacks, bpi.recycled products is committed to continually developing new and innovative waste management solutions to meet the evolving needs of all our customers. The Green Sack Clear reflects that commitment and is just the latest addition to an already highly popular and award winning range.”
