A BANK GIVING AWAY ITS MONEY? · Tesco launches £30,000 cash machine giveaway Tesco Personal Finance today launched its cash giveaway, where anyone using a Tesco cash machine could walk away with more cash than they expected. From today until 13 August, one lucky cash machine user will become £5,000 richer, and 25 others will find themselves £1,000 better off. To be in with a chance of winning, customers simply request a receipt or mini-statement when using any of the 650 Tesco Personal Finance branded cash machines throughout the UK. A special message will be printed on each winning receipt, with the amount of prize money they have won. This is the first such competition of its kind and is open to anyone using the cash machines, regardless of where their account is held. Tesco Personal Finance branded cash machines accept all major bank cash cards and there is no cost to customers as withdrawals are free. Andy Dewhurst, marketing director at Tesco Personal Finance, said: "We wanted to do something that was unique and really captured people's imagination. The thought of walking off with thousands of pounds simply by using a cash machine is sure to draw a lot of interest.
