Atraverda plays key role in Stoney Creek Water's new production line for bottled water Atraverda Ltd, a company in The Generics Group's investment portfolio, and Environmental Systems International Ltd (ESIL) announce the successful start-up of the Stoney Creek Water Company's new production line for bottled table water in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The water purification and sterilisation system utilises ESIL's proprietary electrolytic system, for which Atraverda provides anodes manufactured from the remarkable Ebonex conductive ceramic material. The ESIL process with Ebonex anodes produces water that greatly exceeds the normal standards for bottled water, and is probably the most benign and healthy drinking water commercially available. Brian Cook, President of ESIL, said "This is the first commercial plant using the ESIL technology, but we expect it to be the first of many world-wide in applications of bottled water production. The Ebonex anodes provided by Atraverda are a key component of the success of the ESIL technology which can also be applied to municipal water sterilisation and purification and in effluent treatment." Andrew Hill, Managing Director of Atraverda, said, "We are pleased to be associated with the ESIL technology, which we believe offers much not only to commercial bottled water companies but to resolving water supply issues in municipal, domestic, humanitarian and industrial contexts around the world."
