COURTESY CAR NOW STANDARD FOR All LIVERPOOL VICTORIA MOTOR INSURANCE CUSTOMERS Liverpool Victoria, the UK's largest Friendly Society1 will be offering a courtesy car as standard to all new and existing motor insurance customers from April 2003. Customers will receive their courtesy car for the duration of their accident repair or for up to 20 days when they are claiming for theft or total loss of their own vehicle. Many leading insurers will only provide a courtesy car if the insured car is reparable. Trevor Webb, Liverpool Victoria's Technical Claims Manager, says: "We are pleased to be able to offer this additional benefit to both new and existing customers to keep them on the road when they need it most." "Many motorists are under the impression that their insurer will offer a courtesy car whatever the situation. However they could be in a fix if their own car is labelled a 'total loss' as many leading insurers won't provide a courtesy car in this situation."
