"CURIOUS GARDENERS" GO TO SEA Take your green fingers to the water and join P&O Cruises' superliner Aurora next month on her gardening-themed 'Canaries Caper' cruise, for your chance to meet BBC2's "Curious Gardeners", Guy Cooper and Gordon Taylor. Famous for their garden design expertise, these two "Curious Gardeners" have designed gardens worldwide, including Elton John's 36-acre estate in Berkshire and topiary for Sir Terence Conran's Bibendum restaurant in London. Aurora's 12-night cruise departs Southampton on 6 April and visits Madeira, Tenerife, La Palma, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Lisbon and Vigo. Prices start from £1,440 per person, including P&O Cruises' 20% Pricebreaker discount. During the cruise, passengers will be able to join Guy Cooper and Gordon Taylor for a series of question and answer sessions, quizzes, demonstrations and talks. There will also be the opportunity to take advantage of some dedicated gardening-themed tours and if your passion for all things green is still alive, why not go to the cinema to watch gardening feature films, Greenfingers starring current Oscar nominee Helen Mirren and The Secret Garden, starring current Oscar nominee Dame Maggie Smith. When back on dry land, look out for the second series of "Curious Gardeners", due to be broadcast in May 2003. For further details and reservations, call 0845 3 555 333.
