Investors can apply for their ISA up until midnight (subject to application being completed) on 5th April 2002, by: · logging on to the Jupiter website (jupiteronline.co.uk) · telephoning 020 7314 7600 · posting their application to PO Box 14470, London, SW1X 7SJ In each case the completed application must be received and accepted by Jupiter by midnight on April 5th 2002. Investors can also deliver their application to one of 15 drop off points available for last minute ISA applications (venues and opening times attached). Payment can be made by personal cheque or by debit card with Delta/Switch facilities. Commenting, Steve Glynn, Joint Managing Director of Jupiter Unit Trust Managers, said: "Many people opt to buy their ISA at the last minute, which is why we are endeavouring to offer as many ways of submitting applications as possible to ensure these individuals can get their applications in on time. "Though investors might be wary about the current turbulence in the markets, they should bear in mind that the drop in markets could be a good buying opportunity. It's also worth remembering that the tax breaks offered by ISAs are annual and that if investors do not take advantage of them by April 5th 2002, this year's allowance will have been lost forever."
