Green Flag Group set to become major player in North West Following the recent announcement of its plans to move into Liverpool, Green Flag Group, the business-to-business insurance and motoring assistance company, has confirmed its intentions, with the signing of a lease for new premises in the city centre. The premises, at Cavern Court, close to the city's legal district, will house the company's new claims centre, where a projected 325 staff will be employed. The centre will initially process technical claims and eventually general insurance claims. Green Flag Group established temporary premises in Knowlsley in August, since then, 70 employees have been recruited and are already working. They will relocate to Cavern Court when the new building becomes available towards the end of December. Nigel Charlesworth, spokesperson for Green Flag Group, said: "Liverpool, with its amenities and skills base, is the perfect choice for our new claims resource and we are delighted at the prospect of providing permanent and rewarding employment for experienced people. The new centre will provide an excellent working environment, is close to all amenities and very convenient for local transport."
