MTV SPIES IN THE AREA MTV IS LOOKING FOR NEW, UNDISCOVERED PRESENTERS... IN CARDIFF! MTV spies are hitting the streets of Cardiff to look for unique, funky and witty people to become MTV presenters! A team of crack MTV scouts will be prowling the music festivals, shopping centres and train stations of the country this summer in search of a team of new presenters to host up-and-coming programmes on the UK's favourite music channel. And between the 22nd and 28th July they'll be on the hunt in Cardiff! The MTV team will be mingling with crowds and hanging out on street corners, looking for anyone with that mythical MTV quality. You don't have to do any preparation! Just be yourself, and be out and about and MTV will do the rest. They aren't looking for performers, stage school loveys or size 10 models - they're looking for dynamic men and women, full to the brim with character. You really shouldn't be: · physically perfect, with that 'just stepped off a catwalk look' · groomed for the stage from a young age · a Pop Idol wannabe · a Big Brother failure · a prom queen-type or Atomic Kitten clone You do need to be: · an individual... you don't want to look like or be like everybody else · witty... you're a laugh to have a drink with · funky and intriguing · unique... everybody secretly wants to hang out with you · cheeky, naughty, sassy and not afraid to make a tit of yourself The lucky new MTV presenters will be in distinguished company. MTV has a reputation for discovering some of the best presenters in the business. Davina McCall, Richard Blackwood and Cat Deeley had never presented before MTV snapped them up. And with Sara Cox, Ralf Little, Lisa Snowdon, Melanie Sykes, Trevor Nelson, Donna Air, Edith Bowman, Emma Ledden, June Sarpong, Paul Tomkinson and Kelly Brook all having presented MTV, this could be a life-changing chance for the people of Cardiff!
