THE CPP GROUP CREATES 400 JOBS IN TAMWORTH York based provider of assistance products and services, The CPP Group, has announced that it is opening a customer contact centre in Tamworth with the creation of 400 jobs for the area. The CPP Group currently employs 800 staff at their headquarters in Holgate Park. The opening of this new contact centre will enable the company to continue to grow its telemarketing business. A small number of York based employees will be involved in the setting up of the new centre to ensure that it is fully operational by June 2002. The telemarketing agent positions will provide an opportunity for people both with and without telemarketing experience to work at one of the fastest growing companies in the UK and will provide an opportunity to earn a highly competitive salary. A staff benefits package, enabling each employee to select from a range of benefits, including contributory pension, health, life and dental insurance, will also be available. Recruitment will commence in March for management positions, followed in April for telemarketing agent positions, with up to 60 full and part- time agent roles, across a range of different shifts, commencing each month from June through to December 2002. The new customer contact centre is to be located at Centurion Park, just off junction 10 of the M42, and will feature a café and car parking.
