ANTHONY HOPKINS, WILL SMITH, KATE BECKINSALE, NICOLAS CAGE, JENNIFER CONNELLY, MATT DAMON, MIKE MYERS, CHRIS ROCK, FREDDIE PRINZE JR & JACKASS' JOHNNY KNOXVILLE TO PRESENT AT THE 2002 MTV MOVIE AWARDS New York & London, May 16th 2002 - A superstar line-up of guest presenters has been unveiled for next month's 2002 MTV Movie Awards. Anthony Hopkins, Will Smith, Kate Beckinsale, Nicolas Cage, Jennifer Connelly, Matt Damon, Mike Myers, Freddie Prinze Jr, Chris Rock and MTV Jackass' Johnny Knoxville will all take to the stage to introduce the categories and dish out the gongs at the Hollywood bash that all the celebs want to be seen at. The 2002 MTV Movie Awards will take place on Thursday 6th June at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. Hollywood comedy actor Jack Black and ass- kicking vampire slayer Sarah Michelle Gellar will host this year's glittering ceremony, and a further array of exciting presenters - plus some knock-out live performers - will be announced shortly. Please also note that the MTV UK & Ireland transmission of the 2002 MTV Movie Awards has been brought forward to Saturday 8th June at 9pm. Now in it's 11th year, the MTV MOVIE AWARDS has a fine history of not taking itself too seriously, and is an awards show about the entertainment industry that's, well... entertaining!
