NORGESGRUPPEN SIGNS PRICER SOLUTION for 130 MENY ULTRA STORES

Pricer announces that NorgesGruppen Konsern Anskaffelser AS, a fully owned subsidiary of NorgesGruppen ASA has signed an agreement with Pricer’s partner, PSI Systems AS, a fully owned subsidiary of PSI Group ASA,  regarding deliveries, installation and service of their electronic shelf labels for NorgesGruppen’s 130 Meny-Ultra stores. The agreement also includes possible deliveries to the remaining Meny-Ultra stores

The agreement is valued to more than MNOK 100. The infrastructure and solutions will be delivered and installed during 2015, starting in February 2015.

Pricer’s wireless infrared infrastructure enables the replacement of all the store’s paper based shelf-edge price labels to be replaced by digital labels. These small electronic devices, of the size of a paper based label, retrieve automatically price and relevant consumer information from the retailer’s distributed databases as well as can connect through NFC capability to the retailer’s web platform for a seamless omnichannel experience.
