Proposal for new Board of Directors in Pricer and New President appointed Focus on market orientation and growth Proposal for new Board of Directors Prior to the Annual General Shareholders' Meeting of Pricer AB on May 15, 2001, a large group of shareholders, representing more than 30 % of the votes, have agreed on a proposal for a new Board of Directors. The proposed candidates for the Board have an international background and an extensive experience within the retail industry, consumer marketing and sales. During the last year the Board and Management have restructured Pricer from a technology and development driven company into a company focused on marketing and sales. The ambition is now to further strengthen Pricer's emphasis on marketing and focus on sales and growth. The following new persons are proposed to be elected to the Board: Mr Jan Forssjö new President Mr Arve Kristoffersen with a background from TOMRA Systems. Chairman of the Board, Handicare (Norwegian company within medical technology equipment and facilities within the healthcare sector). The following persons are proposed for re-election: Mr Göran Lindén, Chairman of the Board Mr Salvatore Grimaldi The resigning President, Ms Britt Sandberg, is leaving the Board and Mr Thomas Landberg is declining re-election due to moving abroad. New President The Board of Directors has appointed Mr Jan Forssjö as new President, taking up the position as soon as possible. Starting date to be announced later. Mr Forssjö is presently Senior Vice President, Electrolux Home Products, with global responsibility of a number of large accounts. He has also held the positions as Executive Vice President of the direct sales organization and as President of the Electrolux Group's subsidiary in Hong Kong. Prior to this Mr Forssjö has held positions within Johnson & Johnson Co. in the United States and Asia. - It is obvious that the market for ESL is marginally penetrated and that we in Pricer have available products which meet the market needs. Given my background and experience in international sales and marketing, I believe my contribution should be to move the activities closer to the market and put major emphasis on sales, says Jan Forssjö. - The proposed new Board and our new President, Jan Forssjö, add further competence, which is needed in order to create a sound base for growth in sales.
