Attorney Susan M. McLaughlin joins Pavese Law Firm

Attorney Susan M. McLaughlin has joined the Pavese Law Firm, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a litigator to the firm. Her practice area is focused on condominium and homeowner association law, and includes assisting clients with rule enforcement, discrimination charges, insurance claims, breach of contract, and all manner of dispute resolution.

Previously, McLaughlin was a founding partner with the Condo & HOA Law Group, PLLC and has worked at other firms in Fort Myers with a focus on workers’ compensation compliance and civil litigation. Before moving to Florida, McLaughlin was a shareholder in the firm of Harvey, Pennington, Ltd., a Philadelphia based firm, where she practiced law from 1979 to 2001. Prior to joining Harvey, Pennington, McLaughlin was a staff attorney with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

McLaughlin is a former arbitrator, mediator, facilitator, and judge pro tem with the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court; former President of the Worker’s Compensation Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association; former faculty member, course planner, and lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute; and has presented seminars and published on numerous legal topics.

McLaughlin is a graduate of New York University and has a law degree from Villanova University. She has earned the LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent ™ rating, the highest possible rating for professional skill and integrity in the legal profession based on the confidential opinions of the practicing attorneys and judges surveyed.
