Bigham Jewelers adds two industry professionals to management team
Bigham Jewelers announces the hiring of two new professionals to the company’s management team. Graduate Gemologist Jacob Tuchman has joined the company as Director of Fine Jewelry Services. Previously, Tuchman held a leadership position at the Bal Harbour Neiman Marcus Precious Jewels Department for ten years before becoming store manager at Yamron Jewelers’ Waterside Shops location in 1993. During his 18-year tenure, Tuchman served as managing partner, vice-president of sales and director of the watch division. Tuchman specializes in presenting important diamonds and fine jewelry collections from prestigious national and international jewelry houses.
In addition, Bigham Jewelers has appointed Ursula Pfahl, Ph.D. as vice-president of business development. With a broad background in higher education, non-profit management and business operations, Pfahl most recently held the position of chief operating officer and chief marketing officer at Yamron Jewelers. Pfahl’s responsibilities include marketing, public relations, customer relations’ management, client events and the administration of Bigham Jewelers’ extensive philanthropic activities.
