Pavese Law Firm attorney Kathleen D. Oppenheimer has passed the Comprehensive Planning Examination of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). AICP is the professional institute of the American Planning Association, establishing the nationwide standards of urban, suburban, regional, and rural planning practice.

Oppenheimer joined the Pavese Law Firm in 2011 and her practice focuses primarily on resolving land use and zoning, real estate and environmental issues related to the development of land.  Before practicing law, Oppenheimer earned her Juris Doctor and Master of City and Regional Planning degrees under a dual-degree program sponsored by the University of North Carolina School of Law and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Department of City and Regional Planning.  Her graduate studies in land use and environmental planning, combined with her prior professional planning experience in the wireless telecommunications industry, qualified her to sit for the exam.    

Oppenheimer is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Planning Association, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Florida Planning and Zoning Association, Florida Wireless Association, Lee County Association of Women Lawyers, Lee County Bar Association, Real Estate Investment Society (REIS), Florida Bar Association,The Phi Beta Kappa Society, and the Urban Land Institute.
