Pavese Law Firm paralegal earns advanced certification in Real Estate Principles

Pavese Law Firm is pleased to announce that paralegal Kelly B. VanBenschoten has completed the advanced paralegal certification program on Real Estate Principals, earning her second Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) credential in connection with her paralegal work. She previously earned her ACP designation in Land Use, as well as her Certified Paralegal designation. VanBenschoten is the first paralegal in the U.S. to achieve the advanced certification in the field of Real Estate Principles, and is the only paralegal in the U.S. to achieve the advanced paralegal certification in both Real Estate Principles and Land Use.

The advanced paralegal certification program is provided by NALA, the association of legal assistants and paralegals, which requires paralegals to successfully complete advanced legal coursework and to maintain the certified paralegal credential.

Prior to joining Pavese Law Firm, VanBenschoten was a paralegal working on large-scale residential and commercial transactions in the Fort Lauderdale area for 13 years.

VanBenschoten earned a degree in paralegal studies from Broward College with high honors, is a member of Lambda Epsilon Chi (LEX), the national honor society founded by the American Association for Paralegal Education, and served as the student advisor for the Legal Assisting Program Advisory Board for Broward College.
