Pavese Law Firm partner Christina Harris Schwinn has been appointed to the advisory board for Florida Gulf Coast University Small Business Development Council (SBDC). As an advisory council member, Schwinn joins other regional business leaders and professionals in supporting the SBDC in its goal to help businesses grow, to create jobs and generate profits and to assist entrepreneurs in accessing resources and providing consulting to help direct their start up and generate growth.
Schwinn is a partner with Pavese Law Firm based in Fort Myers. Her primary practice areas are employment law, business transactions, community association law and real estate law. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, she served as General Counsel for two large companies that provided human resource and staffing services: HR Logic, Inc. and The Vincam Group, Inc., which was later acquired by ADP, Inc. As general counsel for both HR Logic, Inc. and The Vincam Group, she was responsible for managing the legal and legislative affairs of both companies. She was also a national vice president for AIG Risk Management, Inc.
Schwinn serves on the board of directors of the Southwest Florida chapter of the National Association of Business Owners (NAWBO) and as committee chair for the NAWBO Southwest Florida chapter’s public policy committee. She has served in numerous leadership roles including the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations, Mid-Atlantic Association of Professional Employers, Florida Association of Professional Employers, and California Association of Professional Employer Organizations.
