Pavese Law Firm partner Diane L. Jensen receives Alexander L. Paskay Professionalism Award

Pavese Law Firm partner Diane L. Jensen was presented with the Alexander L. Paskay Professionalism Award at the annual meeting of the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Professional Association held on Sept. 12 at the Edison Restaurant, Bar and Banquet Center in Fort Myers. The award honors Jensen for achieving outstanding effectiveness in the presentation of matters to the Bankruptcy Court, for her reputation for thorough preparation, demonstrating civility and courtesy to opposing counsel, appropriate courtroom demeanor, ethical conduct and professionalism at the highest level and long-term service to the bankruptcy bar. The award was created in honor of the late Judge Alexander L. Paskay for his outstanding contributions to the legal profession.

Jensen joined Pavese Law Firm in 1973 and became a partner in the firm in 1978. Her practice areas include bankruptcy, real estate and estate planning and probate. Jensen is a member and past-chair of the Southwest Florida Bankruptcy Professional Association. She is also a member of the Lee County Bar Association. Jensen has been selected to the list of Best Lawyers in America for 2013 for her practice area in bankruptcy and creditor debtor rights/insolvency and reorganization. 

Her community involvement includes serving as a past board member and past chair of the Chamber of Southwest Florida. She is an honorary life member of the Lee County Unit of the American Cancer Society. Currently, Jensen serves as director of the Pilot Club of Fort Myers and has held several offices within the organization. In addition, she has held appointments at the district and international levels of Pilot International.
