Retina Health Center physicians named to Best Doctors in America
Drs. Alexander M. Eaton and Hussein Wafapoor of Retina Health Center have been named to Best Doctors in America® for 2013. Selected through a peer-review process, only five percent of physicians in the U.S. are chosen for inclusion into the database, which is used by employers, insurers and health plans as a resource for contacting the country’s top physicians for medical consultations.
For six consecutive years, Eaton, director of Retina Health Center, has been named to the list. “I am honored that my colleagues have again selected me to an elite group of medical professionals,” said Eaton. “Best Doctors is a valuable resource that empowers patients to take control of their health care, providing them with access to physicians who can provide them with a second opinion, participate in consultations or help them find the best resources to diagnose, treat and manage their care.”
In addition, Dr. Wafapoor also is recognized by this prestigious network of top physicians in the country.
“As members of the Best Doctors list, we are among an elite group of physicians selected to share our knowledge and experience with other health care providers around the world,” said Wafapoor. “This is a great opportunity for Retina Health Center to globally enhance our research and clinical expertise.”
