Sponsors named for 2013 Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame, Lee County
Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida announces BB&T Bank and BB&T-Oswald Trippe and Company are this year’s event title sponsors. CenturyLink, Home-Tech, Lee Memorial Health System, Hope HealthCare Services, LeeSar and Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company P.A. are gold sponsors for the event.
The 2013 Business Hall of Fame, Lee County dinner and awards ceremony will be held on April 10 at 5 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Estero. During the event, Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida will induct forward-thinking entrepreneurs and prominent community leaders Gail Markham of Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company P.A. and Bob Simpson of LeeSar into the 2013 Business of Hall of Fame, Lee County.
Sponsorships are still available and include tickets to the event. Tables of 10, which include two reserved seats for students, are available for $1,800 (silver sponsor level). Tables of four are available for $900 (bronze sponsor level) and include a reserved seat for one student. Individual seats are available for $250 each.
In addition, business leaders can sponsor a student for $125 per ticket to give students the opportunity to attend the event, interact with local professionals and practice their professional networking skills. The prestigious award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who serve as role models for youth through their professional accomplishments and commitment to the community. Markham and Simpson will join a distinguished group of individuals who have been inducted into the Business Hall of Fame since it was founded in 1987.
Gail Markham serves as valuation, litigation and mediation services partner for the certified public accounting firm which she founded in 1979. Today the firm provides comprehensive business advice as well as a wide range of accounting services with offices in Fort Myers, Naples and Fort Lauderdale. Since March 1, 2002, Bob Simpson has served as president and CEO of LeeSar’s Supply Chain Management Division and Cooperative Services of Florida, the Group Purchasing Organization for Lee Memorial Health System and Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System.
