ProfilGruppen announce further personnel reductions

ProfilGruppen will initiate negotiations with the unions regarding personnel reductions of 40 employees in the aluminium profile production at ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB in Åseda, Sweden. The negotiations will be started immediately. All affected personnel will be offered redeployment support.

This measure is due to the continuing weak demand for aluminium extrusions on the European market.

”The demand in the market is at a lower level than what we adapted our organisation to during the last quarter. It is with great regret that we are forced to reduce the number of employees even further. It is however necessary to adapt the Group’s organisation and cost structure to the present market situation”, says President and CEO Nils Arthur.
