ProfilGruppen receives order in growth segment worth 130 MSEK

ProfilGruppen Extrusions AB has signed a contract for deliveries to REC ScanModule AB. The contract, which runs over three years starting 2008, makes ProfilGruppen the main supplier of aluminium components to REC ScanModule. The contract is estimated to have a total order value of approximately 130 MSEK.

REC ScanModule AB, situated in Glava, Sweden, is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of solar panels and is part of the Norwegian REC Group ASA. During 2008 the company will triple its production capacity.

This agreement will give both companies a possibility to grow with a maintained production in Sweden”, says Anders Holmberg, Purchasing Manager, ScanModule.

As part of the contract ProfilGruppen will invest 8 MSEK in an automated machining cell.
