PROHA PLC'S SHARE OF OWNERSHIP OF DATAMAR OY TO OVER 90 PER CENT. Proha Plc's share of ownership of Datamar Oy has increased to 98 per cent of shares and 99 per cent of votes, as a result of the directed offer to the shareholders of Datamar. After the increase of the share of ownership to over 90 per cent, Proha has the right to acquire the remaining Datamar shares. Proha is considering the use of the redemption right. The directed offer is a continuation to the purchase that was made August 1, 1999, when Proha's ownership of Datamar increased to 78 per cent of shares and 93 per cent of votes. Datamar Oy has been an affiliate company of Proha Plc since 1995. Datamar Oy is a Lahti-based IT company that produces application development services. The net turnover of Datamar during the financial year that ended December 31, 1998, (18 months) was FIM 6 million, profit FIM 1,3 million. Currently the company has 25 employees. Proha Plc is a Finnish IT service enterprice. The key areas of Proha's operations are project management information technology, automation of software testing, and Internet business applications. Currently Proha Group has 136 employees.
