Om invests in competence development

OM INVESTS IN COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT The Technology Division of OM Gruppen, a company listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, is investing in competence development for about 800 of its staff. In the longer term, the same option will be offered to all 1,400 of its employees. Prohunt AB, the Nordic region's leading company in the field of Intellectual Capital Management (ICM), will supply OM's Technology Division with its ProCompetence package, including accompanying software and technical platform. Equipped with this competence development system, the Technology Division will be better able to deal with changes in competence requirements and recruitment needs as well as guarantee the right competence at the right time in the right place. Once installed, ProCompetence allows the user to follow up key ratios, identify core knowledge, define roles and keep track of overall objectives concerning the competence requirements for each role or position. In addition, every co-worker can register their new competence profile and set up their own individually customized development programme.
