Project Partners launches new branding campaign as it celebrates milestone

(FORT WORTH, Texas) October 26, 2010 – After 16 years of providing award‐winning results for many of North Texas’ most prominent nonprofit organizations and community leaders, Fort Worth‐based Project Partners announces its newest achievement‐a new corporate identity. Developed in partnership with three fellow branding and marketing leaders, Project Partners introduces a new branding platform, logo, tagline and website, which best portrays the firm’s experience, staying power, and dedication to advancing important community causes.

“We wanted to concisely communicate Project Partners’ commitment to serving those who serve our community and our sixteen years of success in doing so,” said Lerii F. Smith, CFRE, co‐founder and president of Project Partners. “Even after sixteen years, we know not to take anything for granted, so this move was a strategic business decision, made to better position us in the marketplace for another sixteen years of service.”

Although Project Partners provides marketing and community relations services for its clients, along with event management, fundraising counsel, program development and volunteer engagement, Smith knew she was too close to the process to create the best results alone. She looked to Debra Morrow of Morrow & Company to develop the tagline and branding platform. “In speaking with several of Project Partners’ clients such as Fort Worth Sister Cities and Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau, words like “professional,” ”smart” and “dedicated to our cause” were repeatedly used to describe the company,” said Morrow. “To create a powerful positioning statement, we wanted to convey that the company did good work for organizations that positively impact the community and that the relationships created with clients were meaningful and long‐term. Project Partners, “Your Partner for Good” said it all.”

This platform and tagline then became the springboard for the creative branding developed by Colin Short of PULSE Design and Branding, and the website development, completed by Mancel Herring of PrimeSite Web Solutions.

Project Partners’ new corporate identity strategy also included the launch of Good Advice, a monthly e‐article series of useful tips and tools for nonprofit executives and community leaders.
