ActivExpression and ActivProgress Solutions Receive 2013-14 Readers’ Choice Awards

Promethean (LSE:PRW) announced today that ActivExpression student response system and ActivProgress were named by eSchool Media readers as favorite ed-tech products for transforming education in their classrooms and schools. Each was awarded an honorable mention in the 2013-2014 Reader’s Choice Awards, which recognize products that readers use to advance teaching, learning or school administration.

Educators and administrators from K-12 schools, colleges and universities across North America nominated their favorite ed-tech product or service from February through April 2013; to maintain the integrity of the program, nominations from vendors were not accepted. When submitting nominations, educators were asked to include not just the name of the product or service, but also how it was being used to improve education and to what effect.

“We are thrilled that eSchool Media readers have recognized our solutions for the second year in a row. Our interactive, feedback-driven learning environment engages students through audio, video and other collaborative activites and simplifies the planning and delivery of differentiated instruction for teachers,” said Rob Goldberg, President of Promethean North America.

Nearly 700 nominations were received, and from these, eSchool Media editors chose 40 winning products and 60 honorable mentions, based on the quality of the nomination. The winners and honorable mentions are recognized in the July/August 2013 editions of eSchool News and eCampus News, as well as online at: http://www.eschoolnews.com/rca.
