Convenient, retail-friendly packaging allows retailers to easily display and stock ZircoFlex® heatshield
Zircotec’s ceramic heatshield material is now packaged as a retail ready product for the consumer market.
OXFORD - To assist its growing distributor base and make the product more accessible within a retail environment, ZircoFlex® is now available as a low cost, ready to fit kit.“This next step really opens up ZircoFlex® to the mass market ,” says Zircotec’s sales and marketing director Peter Whyman. “We knew the potential from success within the motorsport market, so the next logical step was to roll the product out to accommodate retail and online sales activities” concludes Whyman.
ZircoFlex® heatshield is already well known in professional motorsport circles, with teams purchasing the product by the metre, to carry as running spares during race weekends to help reduce temperatures in sensitive areas such as engine bays and areas in proximity to hot exhausts.
Initial growth is anticipated to be within the performance and modified sector, where vehicles with high power outputs and replacement aftermarket parts can result in excessive heat being generated, particularly in engine compartments.
