Cruden manufactures its 100th simulator

Simulator no. 100 is a formula style tub on 6-DOF system, popular with race teams and simulator centers.

AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands – Cruden, the Amsterdam-based designer and manufacturer of professional motion-based simulators, simulator software, components and track/road and car models produced its no. 100 simulator this week. The company’s employees marked the occasion with champagne and a special livery on the race car body of the centennial simulator, a Hexatech Formula Style that will soon be shipped to a trade show in China.

Cruden, founded in 2006, originated from Fokker Aircraft Company and FCS Racing Simulation meaning it has been developing professional motion simulators since the 1990s. With technology used first in the aerospace industry, Cruden has helped to transfer realistic accurate motion simulation into the marine, automotive and motorsport industries.

Today, Cruden supplies the top levels of international motorsport, the automotive industry, universities and research institutes and the global attractions business. Cruden's team of vehicle dynamicists, software developers, mechanical engineers and project managers is based at the company’s Amsterdam headquarters.
