Oxfordshire PR Company wins ‘Gold Award’ at CIPR Thames and Chiltern PRide Awards
Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) awards Propel Technology a Gold PRide award for best business PR campaign.
Oxfordshire- Banbury-based specialist PR and marketing agency, Propel Technology, has won a CIPR PRide Award for its work with Benson-based MMR Research Worldwide (MMR). Propel Technology beat off five finalists in the Thames & Chiltern regional awards to take the Gold award for the Business & Corporate Communications Campaign.
Propel Technology and MMR were the gold award winners for their PR efforts to promote the value of consumer research in the design of product packaging. The judging panel commented: “This clear and comprehensive campaign used a variety of complementary tactics to achieve objectives. A strong point was the absolute focus on excellent positioning of an industry expert in a truly global campaign. The campaign demonstrated excellent business results and return on investment. It is a clearly thought through and well executed campaign.”
“We are overjoyed to be rewarded with yet another award from the PR industry’s professional body, this time for our work with fellow Oxfordshire company, MMR Research Worldwide,” says Propel Technology director Claire Dumbreck. “This was less of a campaign and more an ongoing, sustained effort to demonstrate, via the media, the importance to big food, drink and personal care brands of undertaking consumer research when developing their packaging. We helped to build MMR’s reputation as a leader in this field and we were able to show the judges that our work paid off.”
