Viessmann demonstrates efficiency boosting systems at PHEX

Viessmann is presenting its domestic boiler and renewable ranges at all six PHEX plumbing and heating exhibitions this year (Wembley, April 30; Doncaster, May 8; Silverstone, May 21; Bristol, June 18; Manchester, October 16/17; Chelsea, November 13/14).

In addition to a series of graphic displays, a fully piped up demonstration will showcase the leading heating manufacturer’s proprietary four-pipe system. A Vitodens 100-W gas condensing boiler will be connected to a radiator and Vitocell 200-V cylinder to indicate how the four pipe system uses separate heating and DHW flow and returns to deliver hot and cold water to both the heating and hot water circuits, which ensures maximum efficiency is achieved for both, especially if the boiler is fitted with weather compensation as then the heating side can condense effectively too. The system means expensive energy cut-off valves aren’t required to separate circuits because it is already built-in, saving up to £250 in parts and half a day’s installation.

“Even in tough times, end users are seeking assurance from quality, reliability and long term benefits,” says Graham Russell, Viessmann’s managing director. “Premiumness resonates throughout Viessmann’s product ranges, and our customers benefit directly from quality components and efficient system designs. This year at PHEX we will be showcasing key products from our ranges and highlighting the crucial aspects that allow them to meet the needs of installers and customers; such as control functions, installation flexibility and top quality stainless steel heat exchangers.”

Visitors to all six PHEX shows will be able to attend a presentation by Viessmann’s training manager, Tony Lobley. Lobley will present and discuss the most energy efficient options for a variety of domestic building types; discussing how heating and hot water systems can vary greatly by property and consumer demand. The sessions will equip attendees with the guidance they need to correctly specify systems and offer end users expert advice when it comes to product options and renewable add-ons.
