High tech refrigeration and cold storage manufacturer increases its product offering by launching a new range of affordable cold rooms suitable for private gastronomy customers, small restaurants, hotels and caterers.

Viessmann has started production of a new range of cold rooms. The TECTOCompact line-up offers affordability and shorter lead times, allowing smaller customers requiring cold storage up to 3.6m x 6 m to enjoy the quality, hygiene, energy efficiency and flexibility credentials associated with Viessmann’s established TECTO product range.

The new TECTOCompact is available from stock, reducing the average lead time for installation.

Viessmann is offering its TECTOCompact cold rooms in 300 mm x 300 mm increments between 1200mm and 6000mm. The standardised nature of the products allows Viessmann’s factory in Hof, Germany, to mass produce all parts of the cold room for the first time. This ‘off-the-shelf’ cold room requires no timely planning and specification progress, which greatly reduces the cost of production, without compromising the quality.

Jim Whelan, director of international business at Viessmann says, “After in-depth market analysis, we spotted a gap in the market for a lower priced, quality cold room. Viessmann is applying its well-known mix of technical innovation and high quality service levels to a new market.”

Whelan went on to say, “The new TECTOCompact allows Viessmann to offer a competitively priced product for a wider market of private buyers and low budget projects. The product is perfect for those who need a cold room quickly and are keen to benefit from Viessmanns increased energy efficiency and great customer service levels.”
