Viessmann, one of Europe's leading brands in heating technology, is urging designers and constructors to visit its stand (N2030) at Ecobuild (March 1-3, 2011; ExCel; London) for unbiased advice on the specification of sustainable and energy efficient heating technologies. The company, renowned for its comprehensive range of quality products for domestic, commercial and renewable applications, will launch two renewable energy products to the UK market at the show. The Vitosol 200-T solar system and the Vitocal 200-S air/water heat pump with split design will join a new efficient oil-fired condensing boiler, the Vitoradial 300-T. “Viessmann’s comprehensive product range encompasses all traditional and renewable fuel types and applications,” says Peter Frost, Managing Director of Viessmann Ltd. “Not only does this allow us to deliver efficient and fully integrated solutions, but we can be trusted to provide a fuel-neutral perspective in what can be a minefield of competing information. The fact that we have launched over 10 new products in two years reflects Viessmann’s commitment to developing new efficient products and to furthering carbon emissions reduction and energy savings.” Vitosol 200-T; solar so good The new Vitosol 200-T is a highly efficient, heat pipe vacuum tube collector system designed to benefit end-users and installers alike. When combined with a Viessmann condensing boiler, energy usage can be reduced by up to 35 percent. Offering universal application through vertical or horizontal installation in any location – on rooftops, walls or freestanding – a newly-designed header casing enables it to blend harmoniously into the overall appearance of the roof. Good news for builders, the Vitosol 200-T collectors are delivered as pre-assembled modules. Viessmann’s innovative plug-in system makes for quick and easy installation without the need for special tools or having to open the connection chamber. Plug the tubes into the manifold – click – finished. Subsequently, the individual tubes can be rotated for optimum alignment with the sun and replaced without the need to drain the system. Vitocal 200-S: Attractively priced air/water heat pump with split design Affordably priced, efficient and easy to install, the new Vitocal 200-S air/water heat pump is an attractive space saving solution for making use of natural heat in family homes. Whether as part of a heating system modernisation project or a new construction, the split design of the Vitocal 200-S (output 4 to 13 kW) is suited to both applications. In existing heating systems, it provides cost-saving, environmentally friendly basic heating supply, including flow temperatures up to 55 °C. Only when higher flow temperatures are required, especially on cold winter days, does the existing gas or oil boiler need to be used to cover the additional demand. In well insulated buildings, the Vitocal 200-S can even be installed as the sole source of heating for rooms and generating DHW. Because its operation can be reversed with an additional convection unit, it can also be used to cool living space on hot summer days. In this way, the new heat/water pump ensures pleasant temperatures all year round. Vitoradial 300-T oil fired condensing boiler The new Vitoradial 300-T provides a unique offer to the UK market of a mid-sized oil fired condensing boiler, designed purposely for commercial applications that require a high-efficiency oil solution. It is extremely compact for easy handling, and with a low build height, makes an ideal solution for modernisation projects. Efficient to run, the boiler has long burner runtimes and fewer switching intervals due to its large water content. Providing a rated output of 101 to 335 kW, it is supplied as a unit that uses proven technologies, with a downstream flue gas/water Inox-Radial heat exchanger and the new Vitoflame 100 pressure-jet oil burner for low NOx emmissions. The Vitoradial 300-T offers the highest efficiency for operation with fuel oil: upto 95.5% seasonal efficiency in accordance with Part L2. The patented integral Therm-Control ensures simpler hydraulic connection, saving on system components, labour and therefore project cost. Viessmann will have senior technical experts on hand to answer questions from Ecobuild visitors throughout the show. - ends – About Viessmann Limited Viessmann Ltd is part of the Viessmann Group of Companies which is one of the leading international manufacturers of heating systems.
