Versatile thermal barrier options make it simpler to find ZircoFlex product for every application

OXFORD – Coatings specialists Zircotec is expanding its range of ZircoFlex™ thermal barrier foils to make installation simpler and more cost effective. Available now, ZircoFlex is offered in two and three layer versions, with and without self adhesive backing, all in a greater range of sizes, starting with A4. Highly effective at heat management, yet light at just 0.46kg/m2 and just 0.25mm thick, a single layer can reduce surface temperatures by 64 percent, with reductions of 77 percent and 85 percent achievable for the new double and triple layers. “ZircoFlex foil is now much simpler to apply using self adhesive backing and pre-prepared multi layered versions,” says Zircotec’s sales director Peter Whyman. “In addition, we have introduced smaller sizes including A4 so customers can buy just what they need and minimise waste.” ZircoFlex has been used successfully in everything from F1 and classic cars through to PCs and cookers as an easy to install and effective heat resistant barrier. Made up of a thin aluminium foil covered with ceramic platelets that enable it to be easily folded, bent and cut to fit in the tightest spaces unlike fibreglass or pressed aluminium offerings. As well as the product improvements, Zircotec is also making it even easier to buy its foil products. ZircoFlex can be bought direct from Zircotec’s website www.zircotec.com as well as a growing number of authorised resellers including for the first time, motorsport distributors Demon Tweeks and a growing number of distributors in Europe, India and Australia.
