ACIC’s Mark Sektnan Named Board Chairman for the Civil Justice Association of California
SACRAMENTO, CA - ACIC President Mark Sektnan has been named Chairman of the Board for the Civil Justice Association of California (CJAC). Sektnan will serve a two-year term as board chairman and his duties will include overseeing board meetings and serving on the CJAC Executive Committee. CJAC is dedicated to improving California’s civil justice system.
“I am honored to serve as board chair for this important organization,” said Mark Sektnan, ACIC President. “Insurers witness the impact the civil justice system has on consumers every day in court rooms across California. We are fortunate to have CJAC fighting for important reforms in both the legislature and through the legal process.”
CJAC aggressively works in the California State Legislature and the courts to reduce the kind of unwarranted and excessive litigation that increases business and government expenses, discourages innovation, and drives up the cost of goods and services for all Californians.
The Association of California Insurance Companies (ACIC) is part of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI).
