Visitors attending this year’s Henley Regatta – who are intending to arrive by boat –would do well to secure themselves a spot at Henley Moorings.

Ideally situated right by the bridge at Henley-on-Thames and a stone’s throw from the main action, Henley Moorings can accommodate boats up to 35ft long; each berth comes with electricity and water supplies, as well as CCTV for added security.

Given the moorings’ excellent location, boat owners are advised to book well in advance of the popular regatta, which takes place from July 2ndto July 6th.

Sorbon Estates also has moorings available to rent at the recently refurbished Bourne End Marina, located further downstream between Maidenhead and Marlow. The marina has pontoon river moorings for boats of varying dimensions and is ideally suited to boat owners looking for a well equipped, long-term home for their vessels. There is a wide range of services on offer including boat transport, boat cleaning, sewage pump out, Elsan disposal, water, electricity, towage, carnage, chandlery supplies as well as general boat maintenance and repair within a fully equipped engineering workshop.

For those looking for an idyllic, picturesque spot in which to moor up for the season, then Saxon Moorings, situated on a secluded stretch of the Thames at Old Windsor, is perfect. Frontage moorings are able to accommodate larger boats, while the pontoon moorings are ideal for smaller vessels, but all tenants can benefit from the picnic and barbeque facilities, toilets, parking, CCTV surveillance, as well as electricity and water supplies.

Viewing is by appointment only.  For further information contact Sorbon Estates on: 01494 671331 or visit: sorbonestates.com
