Fire Extinguishing Entrance Mats Stopped the Spread of Fire

Who could quickly come up to use an entrance mat in order to extinguish fire, especially when faced with such very demanding situation? In one of ProQures customers, it was witnessed how the spread of fire was stopped with the help of ProQure's mats. The damage was minimized by the Danish Fire Brigade who were quick on site and used the available resources they could get - one of those was ProQures entrance mats. It was a few days before Christmas. In the middle of the busiest time of year and during the lunch rush/ hour, it burned quickly and substantially in one of ProQure's customers in central Copenhagen. Quick on the spot was the Danish Fire Brigade. "Our kitchen is deep inside our premises and firefighters had to act quickly to minimize the damage. Then they took hold of the mats that lay in the hall." told the association's owner Ulla Hautop, Osterbro, Copenhagen. The bottom part of the entrance mats are made of nitrile rubber and is not easily flammable. It is therefore a perfect material to stop the spread of the fire and extinguish some of the fire inside the kitchen, according to the firefighters. No one was injured and the entrance mats were still in good condition after the incident.
