March is a new record month for the sales of entrance mats. Mat Services also follows the trend. Late 2009, ProQures management forecasted that the sales of entrance mats and mat services during the monhts of December 2009 / January 2010 would be a success. These months have always been the winter season's most important period for the industry. The snow storm also added to the sales sucess as the whole of Sweden experienced a record-low chilly winter. For ProQure, March has also been a record month. We had expected that sales results would be satisfactory. We were pleasantly surprised when we accounted for the latest figures. Lead times increased but we kept the pressure under control due to the sourcing strategies that ProQure chose from the beginning. When most people in our industry had five weeks lead time, we could keep it for three weeks including transportation, according to an interview with Ryan Eriksson, ProQures Marketing and Sales Manager. In addition, our response time is between 1-2 days to our customers and this is something we constantly live up to. It paid off as many of our current customers switched from its former supplier, added by Ryan Eriksson.
