And its Gold for Protean Marketing at the 2012 Amec Awards

B2B marketing agency Protean Marketing Communications Ltd won the Gold Award at the prestigious Amec Awards in Dublin last night. Nominated in the category of Best Use of Communication Management: International – Multi-market Activity, Managing Director, Greg Robinson collected the award which rewarded the success of the Protean team in launching the Super Dry range of desiccant drying and storage cabinets into the Americas and quadrupling sales since the start of the campaign.    

Upon receiving the Gold Award, Robinson said “ We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award, especially as the AMEC awards recognise and promote best practice in communication planning, research and evaluation – something that we have adhered to very closely when working on the Totech SuperDry account. We were also up in the category with some very esteemed corporations such as National Grid, Verizon, Mazda, IKEA and Manchester City FC so we were extremely pleased to be recognised for our efforts.” He continued, “ The work we have undertaken for Totech is very unique for a traditional marketing agency in that it combines all our traditional integrated marketing expertise with our exceptional sales experience. All results have been measured and quantified very closely and I am delighted for the entire team who worked on this project.”

The prestigious AMEC Awards, recognises and celebrates exceptional work and accomplishments in putting programme research, measurement and evaluation on the Agenda, especially since the adoption of the Barcelona Principles framework in 2010. The awards offer the opportunity to showcase International Best Practice in programme research, measurement and evaluation and winners were chosen by an International Judging Panel.
