Pointsec Encryption Solutions Approved for the Finnish Government STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 16, 2004 - Pointsec Mobile Technologies, a subsidiary of IT security company Protect Data and a global leader in mobile enterprise security, today announced it has signed an agreement with Hansel Oy, the Finnish Government's central purchasing body. The Bank of Finland, the Social Insurance Institution of Finland, all Finnish Ministries, government agencies, funds and public-service companies are now able to purchase Pointsec products according to the terms agreed by Pointsec and Hansel. The purpose of this agreement is to ensure the availability of high- quality encryption products for the government, and that the purchasing volume of government units is utilized efficiently. The agreement also aims to enhance the manageability of operating costs.
