Provident CRM Achieves International Standard ISO 27001:2013 Certification

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded ISO 27001 Certification for Information Security Management Systems. To formalise our commitment to maintaining secure data, we chose to seek ISO certification via Certification Europe. ISO certification is widely considered to be the ‘gold standard’ of information security. To achieve this status, organisations must complete rigorous risk assessments and audits – both internal and external – to prove they are taking every precaution necessary to limit the possibility of a security breach.

ISO 27001:2013 is the latest version of the ISO 27001 standard and part of the wider ISO 27001 family. This is the most up-to-date ISO standard to meet mandatory certification requirements. The ISO 27001 framework determines whether an organisation has built an information security management system (ISMS) capable of protecting sensitive data. When it comes to IT security, the ISO 27001 certification is one of the most respected standards internationally. 

Not only does the framework provide companies with the necessary know-how for protecting their most valuable information, but being ISO 27001-certified helps businesses prove to their customers and partners that it safeguards their data to the highest of standards.

Certification Europe

Provident CRM’s ISO 27001 Certification was expertly assessed by Certification Europe, an internationally accredited certification body based in Dublin with offices in Italy and Japan. Certification Europe works with organisations across the globe to achieve ISO Certification plus provide training on a variety of management systems from Quality Management and Health and Safety to Energy Management and Information Security.

Gerry Kelly, Finance Director of Certification Europe, presented the certificate to Gary Seery, COO of Provident CRM in Dublin. Gerry, who has been involved with Certification Europe since it was established, commented on Provident’s achievement: “Information technology security has become paramount in the protection of data and the growing challenges in today’s data management systems.
