Petaluma, CA (December 6, 2010)   Location, Elevation & Slope (LES) announced today the first release from the negociant firm’s second brand, Buccio, according to LES president, Peter Posert. “Buccio produces wines of affordable elegance,” Posert said. The label is reminiscent of fine Florentine fabric or a hand-worked piece of leather.

This Buccio blend is Monterey County Chardonnay from four different vineyard sites, mostly in the Arroyo Seco sub-appellation. “The wine is opulent and full-bodied yet balanced with solid acidity in the classic Chardonnay style, “Posert said.

Location, Elevation & Slope’s mission is to locate marketplace opportunities, elevate wines through artful blending, and price them attractively for the lifestyle of contemporary wine consumers. Started in 2007, the firm’s first label, Gain Bay, has received numerous gold medals, 90 point scores and has expanded to twenty states and international sales in less than four years. Buccio 2009 Monterey County Chardonnay is the first Buccio wine and the ninth cuvee to be released. All have sold out within months of release.
