Latest Agreement Marks Vote Of Confidence Both In The Professional Panasonic Brand And PSCo’s First To Market Approach

Reading, UK, 4 December 2012 PSCo Technical Distribution, a specialist UK-based distributor of innovative display products and services, has added the newly announced Panasonic 55” video wall display, the TH-55LFV50, to its comprehensive portfolio of video wall products. All stock in the UK of the TH-55LFV50 will be available from PSCo from early December and the display itself can be assessed and tested by PSCo’s Channel Partners at the recently opened Assessment Centre in Reading.

The Panasonic 55” complements the existing LCD and Plasma models in PSCo’s video wall and large-format product portfolio while further strengthening the added-value offering for channel partners. Having worked with Panasonic Visual System Solutions for many years, a strong relationship has been built based on the desire to create packages and solutions for a variety of verticals; retail, corporate and finance, command and control and higher education are just a selection of those targeted.

Having dealt with Panasonic products previously, PSCo has great confidence in the brand’s quality and signature reliability. Additionally, it was possible to view the TH-55LFV50 video wall display at the Panasonic Visual Experience Roadshow, which ran across the country in November.

Commenting on the addition of the Panasonic 55” video wall display, Stuart Holmes, PSCo Group’s CEO, commented: “Panasonic has produced a highly professional product with its first video wall display. It complements our portfolio of best-in class products and technologies with its glossy styling and high brightness. It also offers the smallest bezel available, enhancing the video walls seamless appearance, and has an extremely robust design in order to reduce the breakage ratio in transportation; an ideal turn on for rental companies. We see this latest agreement as a huge vote of confidence in our ability as the video wall experts to take innovative products such as this and successfully deliver to market.”

In the words of Daniel Rose from Panasonic, “The relationship built between PSCo and Panasonic has enabled both companies to deliver exceptional value to the channel; in terms of product and service quality”.

Firstly, the unique Technical Assistance and Assurance service offering from PSCo presents a delivery schedule which incorporates pre- and post-sales care and advice, including; pre-delivery inspection project support, training, demonstrations, R&D testing, set-up, calibration, hand over and enhanced warranty services. These valuable services are unrivalled and have been designed to complement and extend the existing skill set of their channel partners; helping to position them to secure new project opportunities.

Secondly, PSCo have jointly developed a custom made mounting solution with Smart Media Solutions AB (SMS) to be used in conjunction with the video wall. Due to the extremely slim bezel of the TH-55LFV50, the alignment of each individual display is extremely important to ensure the smallest seam gap, which can only realistically be achieved with a bracket custom made for the display. The SMS Multi Display Wall Pro has been designed specifically for the requirements of today’s professional video wall projects with serviceability in mind.

Furthermore, PSCo Technical Distribution is an Authorised Service Centre for Panasonic products, enabling PSCo to provide essential technical assurance, and de-install/re-install on-site services, further enabling our channel partners to meet the end users expectations. The TH-55LFV50 will be available to view and test at the Reading Assessment Centre, the only UK resource of its kind where channel partners and their customers can view and test the world’s leading video wall and large-format display products side by side.

It is the combination of all these value-added incentives and the professional technology approach which each company delivers that enables PSCo and Panasonic to offer channel partners and their customers’ affordable, reliable products with an excellent support system.
