Raising the bar – PSCo Technical Distribution pre-defines AV technology for its channel partners
Further enhances portfolio with new range of innovative display technology, including “Exclusive” range launch
Reading, UK, 29 April 2013 – PSCo Technical Distribution, a trade-only technical distributor of innovative display technology, has enhanced the industry’s broadest portfolio of large format displays and videowalls with six new additions from industry leading brands and an exciting new “Exclusive” range of products. The “Exclusive” range consists of existing exclusive to PSCo products together with a selection of PSCo own-brand products defined by and manufactured specifically for the company. All non-exclusive and “Exclusive” products are highly complementary with each other to ensure channel partners continue to recommend the best complete solution to customers. All are offered with the PSCo Technical Distribution specialist technical support service.

Following a thorough review of its existing portfolio and product offering, PSCo Technical Distribution has added six new large format displays from Panasonic, Samsung and Sharp. PSCo is the first to offer the new 90” Sharp PN-R903, the latest addition to an impressive range of professional LCD displays featuring high brightness (700cd/m2) and contrast ratio (4000:1). This display is based on Sharp’s UV2A technology, which ensures the efficient use of light from the backlight to prevent light leakage, resulting in an extremely high picture quality that is vivid and full of life.
Other new products include the distinctive square Samsung 22” UD videowall and the recently available Samsung 46” transparent display for window applications. For education and boardroom settings, the new Panasonic 85” and 103” PB1 Series of Interactive Professional Plasma Displays allow simultaneous multiple user input. The Panasonic TH-80LF50 80” full-HD professional LCD panel, which PSCo were the first to offer in the UK as announced in February, rounds out the new displays added to the PSCo portfolio.
At the same time, PSCo Technical Distribution has launched a new “Exclusive” range, comprising advanced display products and ground-breaking support products alongside various PSCo own-brand offerings. Included in the range is the Orion Infinite Plasma, a bezel-less plasma screen offering a small seam gap at less than 1.9mm in multi-formations. Also exclusive to PSCo is the versatile omniSHAPES from eyevis, a revolutionary display system of multi-shaped LED rear-projection modules that build into concave and convex curves allowing the construction of videowalls of almost any shape or size. Furthermore, PSCo has exclusive access to the SMS Multi Display Wall Pro bracket range, offering six point precision adjustment for videowall mounting. The Screenlifter display handling system is also within the “Exclusive” range.
Initially, the PSCo own-brand products in the “Exclusive” range will encompass the PSCo Mobile Lifter, reaching an unbeatable height of 2.5m to the centre of the screen, manufactured to PSCo’s specification based on extensive experience of installing and de-rigging displays in live event and corporate environments, the PSCo 60” Bezel-less Plasma Display, as well as the PSCo Videowall Processor powered by Matrox and the PSCo Portable Videowall System. All have been pre-defined using valuable in-house expertise and are being manufactured specifically for PSCo.
