FREE DRINKS TO TOAST FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT Community coffee chain, Esquires Coffee Houses, will be giving its customers one FREE Fairtrade drink for every five they buy during Fairtrade Fortnight. During the promotion, which will run from the 22nd February to the 7th of March, Esquires will reward its customers with double stamps on every loyalty card used across its 30 UK stores. As a result, customers will receive a free Fairtrade drink of their choice for every five bought. Beverages on offer include a selection of premium coffees, hot chocolates, SUKI Teas™ and milkshakes. Peter Kirton, Managing Director of Esquires Coffee Houses UK, said: “We’ve supported the Fairtrade Foundation since 2007 when we became the first high street coffee chain to use Fairtrade beans as standard, rather than an optional extra. “Since this move, we have continued to expand our range of Fairtrade products and we’ve had nothing but positive feedback from our customers along the way. “With this latest promotion, we are rewarding our customers for their ongoing loyalty and support. We also hope to raise further awareness for the Fairtrade Foundation and the incredible impact our customers are making simply by opting for Fairtrade-certified goods.” Alongside its Fairtrade commitment, Esquires Coffee Houses also makes annual contributions to the charities Coffee Kids and One Water. Fundraising for local causes also takes place throughout the UK.
