LEATHAMS STRENGTHENS RETAIL TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS

Food innovators, Leathams Plc, have boosted its Retail Account Management team by the appointment of two experienced sales professionals, Justin Hudson and Jaoid Gailani. Both Justin and Jaoid will be supporting and driving all Leathams’ brands including, Merchant Gourmet and SunBlush within the retail channel. Justin Hudson brings over 13 years of retail experience to Leathams, having previously worked for Dole Fresh UK. He will work as a National Account Manager responsible for key retail accounts including Sainsbury’s and Co-Op. Commenting on his new position, Justin said: “I was initially attracted to the role as the passion and enthusiasm that the company has for its products, and for food in general, really stands out. I was also very impressed by the retailers that work with Leathams.” “I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and understanding of the retail sector to the role, helping support Leathams’ corporate direction and further plans for growth.” Jaoid Gailani also joins Leathams as a National Account Executive, and will be managing sales with key retailers, including Asda and Ocado. Jaoid said: “Coupled with the company’s significant growth over the last two years and future plans within the retail arena, it’s a fantastic time to join Leathams.“ “Having worked for two large blue-chip organisations - Xerox and Unilever – I have gained vast experience managing accounts in highly competitive markets.
