MERCHANT GOURMET APPOINTS SURREY GRADUATE AS NEW EXECUTIVE

Food brand Merchant Gourmet has appointed Holly Parker as a New Product Development Executive.

Holly, 23, recently graduated from the University of Surrey where she studied Food Science & Nutrition on a four-year sandwich course, the third of which was spent working for the respected food research and consultancy firm Reading Scientific Services Ltd. As NPD Executive, Holly will be project managing product developments for retail food brand Merchant Gourmet. Within her role, she will be responsible for conducting market reviews, product benchmarking, recipe development and packaging development. Commenting on her appointment, Holly said: “It’s a really exciting time to be joining the Merchant Gourmet brand. “Over the past 18 months, Merchant Gourmet has dramatically changed its approach.
