Five local jobs will be created when Poundstretcher – the original value store – opens up a brand new branch in Larne on Thursday 27th January 2011. Located on Point Street, the 8,500 ft² store is great improvement on the previous store based on Cross Street and represents a significant financial investment for the town. Doors will officially open to the public at 8.30am. Commenting on the opening, store manager Tanya Spent said: “We’ve had really positive comments from shoppers in Larne about the new Poundstretcher store and the new location.
