Purite launches first in a series of online training videos for users of laboratory water purification systems
The first in a series of online training videos from Purite, the leading UK manufacturer of water purification technologies, will help laboratory technicians improve their use of the latest benchtop water purification or reverse osmosis (RO) units. Each of the new ‘How-to’ videos will concentrate on different aspects of the application and operation of water purification systems, demonstrating clearly how to optimise performance, reliability and water quality.
The first in the series demonstrates the correct way of changing select media packs, using a Purite Select HP unit as an example. Divisional Sales Manager, Steve Mines, explains that, “For most users, cartridge changeover is carried out infrequently, so they are rarely familiar with the correct steps to take. Although it’s a simple process and is described clearly in our operating manuals we felt it would help users still further by providing a short video explaining the correct procedure, so that if they do have a problem they can find the answer quickly and simply via our web site. Each replacement cartridge will be labelled with the web address of the video, plus a QR code to make access easier via a smartphone”.
Purite manufactures a wide range of laboratory water purification systems, both benchtop and ringmain, and plans to extend the series of training videos to encompass all key aspects of system use and maintenance.
